This class is designed to teach basic tumbling, trampoline, and flexibility with developing new motor skills and having fun. Children will also learn to follow directions and interact with other children, while building self-confidence.
CHILD MUST BE FULLY POTTY TRAINED.
This class is for children who have had previous tumbling experience. The focus of this class is to clean up and master the basic skills which include round offs, standing backbends and handstands. This class will also introduce front and back handsprings, back walkovers and front tucks on trampoline.
This class is for the athlete who has had previous tumbling experience. Skills developed will be, round-offs, handstands, somersaults, and back handsprings. Children will also learn technique and simple progression into more advanced skills on double-mini and trampoline. This is an intro class for rec elite and team.
The back handspring class is for athletes who want to mainly focus on back handsprings, perfecting technique, and developing additional skills. These include round-off back handsprings, aerials, front handsprings, and multiple BHS in a row.
This class is for those athletes who have mastered flip factory, but do not wish to compete. They will learn series of back handsprings, back tucks, whips, and fulls on floor. A greater emphasis will also be put into developing skills on double-mini and trampoline.
Edge Team classes are structured around teaching proper technique and fundamentals of competitive
tumbling. Athletes will learn USAG routines and passes which range anywhere from level 4-10, all the way up to Junior & Senior Elite. Athletes will compete locally Jan.-Apr. with the option to compete at Regionals and Nationals in early summer.
TUMBLING & TRAMPOLINE
Aerial silk classes are for ages 7-15, focusing on an intro to aerial silk and intermediate skill progression. Skills will include basics, grasping and climbing the silk, body flexibility, and wraps/knots to suspend while in the air. Aerialists will learn to safely fly with our in house silks.
Learn cheer from the basics to advanced skill development. We incorporate jumps, stunting, choreography, and team building into our REC CHEER program. These classes also attend our multiple parade appearances during the summer session. Join the fun today!
